Updates and Some Policy Changes

As we enter the third week of August, summer is quickly coming to a close. I have had a very busy season with all my favorite pups, which will carry me straight into the second week of September. After that, it will be time for a much-needed hiatus from September 8th through September 16th. I don’t often take time away from the doggos, but it is long overdue!

Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are already fully booked for this year, but there are still plenty of openings over the next four months.

Next, I want to address requests for my personal information and personal references. I completely understand this request. You are inviting someone into your home, so you need reassurance. My name is Nicole Pencola, and I currently live in Stamford. However, my personal address remains confidential. I also work a full-time, remote job for a high-profile tech company, but I do not disclose the specific name of my employer.

I carry private pet care insurance and have passed thorough background checks through both Rover (via First Advantage) and Trusted Housesitters (via Evident), which I paid for independently. My public client reviews serve as my references. Like other established pet care companies that operate in the area, I do not provide personal references, as my professional credentials and client reviews speak to the quality of my service.

Additionally, I have held several professional roles that required full police department background checks and fingerprinting.

While I respect your need for reassurance, these are my firm professional boundaries. I do not share the personal contact information of my current clients, nor do I provide personal or professional acquaintances as references. If these boundaries do not align with your needs, I completely understand if you choose not to move forward with my housesitting services.

Trust and integrity are the foundation of my business. Thank you for respecting my privacy and understanding my policies.
